Terms and Conditions
1.1 It’s the customer responsibility to book with sufficient time for the taxi to reach the destination, which includes accounting for any delays caused by traffic or weather conditions. Checker Cabs will not be responsible for delays caused by customer failure to allow enough time to travel to their destination or delays caused by the customer not being ready at the arranged booked time.
1.2 Customer must order a suitable vehicle size for the number of passengers and luggage. It is against the law to carry more passengers than the vehicle is licensed to carry.
1.3 Children no matter the age or size counts as one passenger.
2. Prices & Payment
2.1 Checker Cabs will provide customer with an estimate based on the information given at the time the estimate is requested. The final fare may be more depending on road conditions, detours and destination changes. The amounts used to determine the fare are subject to change with no notice.
2.2 Payment can be made by cash, credit/debit, tap, Apple or Google Pay or In App.
3. The Service
3.1 Customers will be charged $250.00 to cover cleaning costs in the event of the vehicle being soiled by anyone in the vehicle.
3.2 Customers are strictly prohibited from smoking any substance in our vehicles.
3.4 Checker Cabs does not offer any discounts or ‘free fares’ in the event that your taxi is late.
4.1 Checker Cabs will use all efforts to get customers to their destination on time but shall not be liable for any loss due to delays caused by road or traffic conditions.
4.2 Checker Cabs will not be responsible for any damage or loss incurred to luggage and/or personal belongings.
4.3 If the vehicle breaks down during the trip Checker Cabs will arrange alternative transportation to complete the trip.
5.1 Checker Cabs will refuse or terminate any booking if it places any driver or vehicle at risk of damage, violence or abuse. No refunds will be given.
6.1 Checker Cabs may change these terms and conditions at any time. The material on this site is intended to provide general information only.

7. Lost and Found
Checker Cabs will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged articles. However, any lost items will be looked for and available for pickup if found. All lost items are placed on the Checker Cabs website as they are brought into the Administration office. All Lost & Found items can be picked up between 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Monday to Friday. We accept CASH only if the item is held for collateral.
