I favor taking a cab over an uber, and I have rarely had poor service from a cab driver. Everyone I encounter is friendly and professional. You really can't go wrong when booking a checker cab

I recently called my go to cab company March 23rd. I had some pain that I didn't know what it was but didn't want to walk the short distance. Car 434 a young feller was my driver. He took me home without charging me a arm & a leg. Come Monday I ended up in hospital with a hernia that past and caused so much pain. I'm forever greatful to him !!

This is such a great cab company . I recently broke my ankle .. with the cab driver present! He was soo amazing helping me into my home, helping me call 911 and just pure professionalism. Thank you so much for your help for going the extra mile to help me!! So much appreciated!!

The cab drivers were very helpful, very nice. They got my mom to and from the hospital while I was there and were very reliable. The last one I took noticed I was moving slow and went over bumps slowly and tried to keep the jostle to a minimum so as not to hurt me more coming from the hospital and then gave directions to get us on the right road home once he got us to our car. I would 100% use again.

I rarely use cabs or Uber but when I do it’s always checker cabs really friendly driver and the app is just outstanding

It was a pleasure to witness one of your cab drivers (#1356) drop off an elderly gentleman with crutches...the driver unloaded the man's groceries and took them into his apartment...big respect for those drivers who take extra care, when needed, of their customers!!!

Always book taxi using checkers app. And taxi arrives always on time. It gives real time location and distance of arriving taxi. Drivers are very professional and well mannered 👍

Checker Cab is the best I used this service today and I always use only this service but today was exceptional, As Cab driver Simran #707 went out of the way to help me, Whether it's about renting a house or how to be a owner of the house he educated me and encouraged me to be a owner instead of being a tenant, After that I mentioned I have to call a mechanic as my car is showing Check engine light and hand brake sign is not going, As an Angel 😇 he said you don't have to call anyone and he bring me back to my car and fix the check engine light and fix the hand brake too, and it saved me time & Money which would have cost me arms & Legs, after fixing my car he didn't even took money for the fare and Said save it for your new house and left me in tears, Truly a God sent Angel 😇.

Was cheaper than the uber that I was quoted that never came, had a lovely chat with the driver.

One of their drivers (Fikru) drove our kids back and forth to school for 5 days as my wife and I went on vacation. Very trustworthy, punctual and everything went smoothly. Thanks Checker for helping us out.

Needed a ride on a Saturday with my 2 kids with disabilities. The operator of cab 707 is very kind, helpful and patient with us. He is even knowledgeable with the city's services for persons with disabilities which he generously shared with me. Thank you very much .

Had a very nice experience with one of your drivers. Yesterday I missed the bus while heading to school and I was running a bit late. So I called for a cab and car 1671 showed up in just a few minutes! We had a nice and enjoyable conversation on the way to school and the car was spick and span. But at the end of the ride, I tried to pay with my debit card but it didn't go through. He offered me a free ride to a nearby 7-11 so I could get some cash from the ATM they have there. He also gave me a discount for the whole ride. I offered to give a $5 tip for the 7-11 trip but he said he was good. He dropped me off right in front of the school and I ended up coming on time. I will definitely continue using this company whenever necessary! Sorry I didn't catch his name. Had a very nice experience with one of your drivers. I use checker cabs quite often and usually get good service today I left my phone in a cab and didn’t realize it for at least one hour I flagged down a cab in front of my house he contacted dispatch who radioed the cab I left my phone in the driver took me to where the cab was and I got my phone back we all know how important our phones are and I am very thankful to the drivers involved

I find these guys to be really good the rates are always right there on par with the rest seem to be cheaper than Uber! And they're always helpful and courteous always my first choice for cabs in Calgary!

Reliable, fast, convenient, always great customer service, whether you call or book through the app they always come within 3-10 minutes unless it's stampede and there's an event in the city then they are usually busy and takes 10-20 minutes depending how busy they are , overrall trust worthy cab company

Lovely sporty service.

I was at emergency at one of the hospitals, put my phone on silent and left it on the cab seat on the way home. The driver found it and returned it to me about 20 minutes later. It is my life line. The cab number was 838 and I thank this driver so much for his kindness!! So thankful there are still people like this and that they drive for Checker. I have always had good experiences with Checker and this one was exceptional!!

It is freezing cold out tonight., I was cold and in pain. The dispatcher told the driver I needed assistants, I found out. THANK YOU! This wonderful young man who picked me up said sit back and relax you will be home soon, are you still cold. He was so pleasant, I thought I was driving with one of my sons. This young man is from India and drove cab701.What an excellent representative for Checker Cabs.

I just wanted to say out of all the Drivers from Checker cab that have assisted me Tahir (#1310) was the best. Unfortunately my hands were so cold I accidentally tapped the 4th star, in my opinion Tahir is the epitome of excellent customer service. He deserves all the stars and more.He spoke to my kids and made us laugh, as he noticed one of my kids was tired. He waited for me to pick up my kids and brought us home safely.To Tahir my daughter said you are so nice and was happy I gave you a little thank you I know it wasn’t substantial, I would ideally give more but I just wanted you to get a warm drink as you work outdoors.Stay safe and stay blessed for I know God will bless you abundantly. Pre-booked Checker Cab pick-up at Stage West after the show. Booking time was 9:40 pm and driver arrived promptly at 9:40 pm! Couldn't ask for better service. Driver was courteous and drove us directly to our hotel nearby. Even though it wasn't long or expensive, the driver remained professional and advised that they service all requests. Well done. Will definitely use Checker next time as we are season ticket holders. I expect to receive the same level of service again, and again.

Used checker a few weeks ago during huge rain storm. Driver was excellent. Cab was super clean. I used the app to get a quick ride.
