Simply install the Checker App from your favorite store, complete the one time registration and you are all set. It’s easy to use and makes getting a Checker quick and easy.
It happens to the best of us. We jump out quickly and forget something important. Our drivers typically inspect the vehicle at shift end for lost items and turn them into our Lost and Found department. Items can be picked up at The Checker Transportation Group office located at 316 Meridian Rd SE between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday to Friday. You must provide proof of identity and ownership before any item is released. *If you have the item number it will be easier for us to retrieve your item.

Often our drivers are referred to as our employees but they’re contractors who manage their own business within Checker Cabs. This gives them the flexibility to drive when and where they want. However our drivers are required to follow the Checker Cabs policies set forth by the company and we provide additional training to our drivers.
Whether we’re dropping items to homeless shelters, donating items to our furry friends, delivering hot food to those in need or providing furniture to charitable organizations we want to give back when we can. Calgary is our home so we feel it is important to give back to the community when we are able.

Checker is a locally owned cab company, not affiliated with any other around the world. While we might sport the same sunshine yellow, we are local and at times have over 900 taxis on the road.
