In Calgary, the taxi industry is regulated by the City of Calgary Livery Transport Services and therefore all taxicabs follow the same rate structure. Below is a rate sheet similar to the one found on each and every taxi in the city.

Current Taxi Rates

Rates include 6% G.S.T. $3.00 at meter on $0.20 each additional 150 meters or portion thereof $24.00 per hour waiting time or $0.20 each 30 seconds elapsed time

* Flat rate fares not allowed unless approved by Livery Transport Services.

* Driver is not required to carry change for more than $5.00 from 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. and $20.00 from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M.
